Building Knowledge Through Global Partnerships
Omexom Institute collaborates with leading educational and industry partners worldwide to combine theory with hands-on expertise.
In The Netherlands, we work with Deltion College to deliver a 20-week High Voltage Technology program. Deltion provides the theoretical foundation, while Omexom brings real-world experience—an effective way to deepen understanding and reinforce safety practices.
In France, our partnership with IFCEN and EDF integrates certified training with practical exercises on Omexom-specific mock-ups, ensuring compliance and strengthening skills internally.
In a German and Portuguese Partnership, we are currently collaborating with Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) in Porto, where we deliver specialized training for the Grid Specialist (Netzfachkraft) role. This program combines academic learning with practical experience, ensuring participants gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills essential for operating and maintaining electrical grids safely and efficiently.
In the United Kingdom & Republic of Ireland, we have a formal partnership with Heart of Yorkshire for Substation Fitter and Overhead Linesperson apprenticeships. We are an approved provider of technical training with Energy and Environmental Awards. Read a student testimony here.

Omexom uses virtual reality to deliver immersive training for energy infrastructure, enhancing technical skills and safety. It enables safe simulation of complex or hazardous environments, like offshore wind farms or high-voltage substations, while adapting scenarios to learners’ actions.
