  • Automation & Telecom Maintenance Contract

    • Location: Multiple locations in the GCC: Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE
    • Years: 2024 – 2029
    • Scope: Omexom’s  scope includes the preventive and corrective maintenance of protection and control systems, substation automation systems, SCADA, telecommunications equipment and associated secondary systems. Activities also cover testing, troubleshooting, system upgrades, support during outages and coordination with substations’ operation teams, ensuring the reliability, availability and cybersecuritycompliant operation of critical interconnection assets. 
  • 400kV Substation extension

    • Location: Al Fadhili (Saudi Arabia)
    • Years: 2023 – 2025
    • Scope: Omexom’s scope includes the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of new GIS switchgear, shunt reactors and associated primary equipment, as well as the implementation of protection, control, SCADA, telecommunications and substation automation systems. Executed within a live interconnection substation, the project enables increased power exchange capacity and reinforces the reliability of the regional transmission network.
  • 400 kV Overhead Line Maintenance Contract

    • Location: Multiple locations in the GCC: Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE
    • Years: 2013-2024
    • Scope: Regional maintenance of 400 kV overhead transmission line network across multiple GCC countries, including inspection, preventive and corrective maintenance, outage‑based interventions, fibre‑optic testing and emergency restoration, ensuring long‑term reliability of the interconnection system.
