Hydro

The leading renewable source for electricity generation

Hydropower supplies over 70% of the world renewable electricity and generates over 16% of the world’s global electricity.

Positioned across the entire value chain of a hydro project, we deliver a wide range of solutions for new power plant development and refurbishment projects. Omexom is a fully integrated EPC contractor including civil work with VINCI Group’s sister entities.

Solar

Ground-based & rooftop PV power plants

For over 10 years, Omexom has been a key player in the solar photovoltaic sector. We are perfectly positioned to support solar farm projects and hybrid solar / storage systems at any stage of the energy chain. After installation, we remain heavily involved in the maintenance of solar farms and batteries and provide training to ensure their sustainability.

Wind

Renewable and clean energy source

The share of wind power in the world energy mix is expected to double by 2040, and consequently quadruple its installed capacity.
Omexom has over 20 years experience in the wind energy sector and provides a wide range of services from project engineering to operation and maintenance.
On top of its historical T&D activity, Omexom’s know-how of utilities and independent power producers’ contractual requirements are key to ensure the success of your wind project. Moreover, with its strong local network, Omexom has full knowledge of local grid requirements and practices.
Omexom engages in the highest levels of requirements in terms of quality, environment, health and safety to deliver sustainable and efficient solutions.

Nuclear

Local & international nuclear power player

Nuclear energy is the world’s second largest source of low-carbon power. It provides approximately 11% of the world’s electricity  from around  450 operable reactors (source: World Nuclear Association- World Nuclear Performance Report 2019). The world’s nuclear plants continue to perform excellently. Growth is strong, with more than 20 new reactors scheduled to be connected before the end of 2020. The need for  reliable, predictable and clean electricity generated by nuclear power has never been greater and, worldwide, that is reflected in the growing number of new build programmes underway. Omexom has an international network of more than 1,000 experts in the nuclear sector. We also have French expertise in non-destructive testing and asset management. From engineering to construction, maintenance, decommissioning and waste treatment, we’re active across all areas of the nuclear power plant cycle.
