Gillespie-B1.9 Solar Project Now Energized, Delivering Clean Power to Fayetteville Homes
Booth and Associates, part of the Omexom network in the USA, has achieved a major milestone in its renewable energy efforts with the successful energization of the Gillespie-B1.9 project, a 1.9 MW distribution-generated solar initiative located in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Omexom in Portugal completes 50-MW solar plant using AI tool
In Sines, a mere 2-hour drive from Lisbon, Omexom Renewables Portugal has completed construction of the Morgavel solar plant.
The 100-hectare solar farm features tracker systems whose installation requires a high level of accuracy. An artificial intelligence (AI) tool, AI Clearing, helped ensure precision, quality control, and progress reporting on this innovative and complex project, executed for RWE.
Ready for takeoff: Omexom in Portugal finishes first Portuguese solar farm at Faro airport
The only international airport in the Algarve region, Faro welcomes about 9 million passengers yearly. Starting this summer, the airport, operated by VINCI Airports, is expected to self-produce 30% of its energy needs with solar energy and save an equivalent of 1,500 tons/ year of CO2 thanks to its solar farm.
The Faro Airport project exemplifies the strength of the VINCI companies’ network, spanning various expertise, including that of Omexom in Portugal.
Omexom in Portugal has signed with RWE for the construction of a photovoltaic power plant
Omexom Portugal signed an EPC contract with RWE for the construction of a photovoltaic power plant located in South of Portugal, with a capacity of 44 MWac (49 MWp).
In Ireland, Omexom's teams in France, in partnership with Omexom in the UK and RoI, have been awarded 3 photovoltaic solar power plant projects for their client Neoen, associated with BNRG. The first Millvale photovoltaic plant was inaugurated on April 29.
